Starting with minimalist concepts – most of the time based on a linguistic or systematic logic – Line Nault develops projects that allow diverse domains (such as somatics, multi-media and digital) to reflect upon each other. This reflection-mirror itself becomes the territory of her creations. Line’s work is characterized by an ‘Interstice’ approach – working from the place of an opening, a gap. This is evident not only in the physiological components of her work, but also through her examination of artistic practices.

Line Nault has collaborated as both interpreter and choreographer with various creators and creative bodies in dance, theatre, multi-media, installations and variety shows. Some of these include Martin Bélanger, Louis Champagne, Olivier Choinière, Stéphane Crête, Lynda Gaudreau, Brigitte Haentjens, Benoit Lachambre, Manon Oligny, Marie-Claude Poulin (kondition pluriel), and the companies Code D’accès, L’ange à deux têtes, Momentum, Québec Art Cité, Tournifolie et Trans-Théâtre. She danced and presented her own productions on local and international stages. In 2011, Line Nault became a partner artist at Recto Verso. Moreover, she became an active member of artificiel.org. In 2007, she completed a post graduate degree in Somatic Education at UQAM; she now provides exploratory workshops based on her own creation tools (body and technology) and her knowledge of somatic education.

Line rounds up the year 2012 with an interactive installation, showcased at the studio artificiel, entitled 2012, a diary recollecting her daily life, throughout a whole year prior to an eventual end of the world. Previous to that show, she presented Attachée, an abounding work of art adapted in four different variations – a show, an installation/performance, a book and a performative reading. During the last few years, Line Nault dedicated herself to the creation and production of various pieces of work, performed either on stage or within an installation, such as La problématique de l’erreur (#1-2009, #2-2010), stemming from a common core, Kit mobile; femme avec bagages magiques (2007-2011), L’espace des autres (2005-2006), Séquelles diffusion (2005-2009), Revenir en avant (2004) and Vivarium (2003).
